The Challenge
Commercial AI services were expensive, raised privacy concerns, and I wanted full control to experiment with local models.
My Approach
Built a complete self-hosted AI infrastructure from scratch using dual RTX 3090s (48GB VRAM) to run 70B parameter models locally.
- • Deployed Llama 3.3 70B and DeepSeek R1 70B models via Ollama
- • Created 15-tool agentic CLI with file ops, web search, image generation, and git integration
- • Full stack: Ollama, Open WebUI, SearXNG (private search), Stable Diffusion Forge
- • Docker containerization, VPN privacy, remote access via Tailscale
The Result
A fully private, always-available AI assistant for coding, research, and creative projects. Zero ongoing costs, complete data privacy.
Currently building: AI agents for job search automation (web scraping, resume tailoring, application tracking). Learning to bring these agent-building skills into enterprise training workflows.

Training content creation was time-consuming and manual at enterprise scale.
My Approach
Built AI agents to automate curriculum planning, content generation, and script synthesis. Used Descript AI to create voiceovers and scripts for dozens of enterprise training videos, then produced final content with Camtasia.

When I'm not building AI systems, I restore vintage arcade machines. My home arcade features 12 fully restored 80s cabinets — CRT monitor repairs, capacitor replacements, cabinet refinishing, the works.

I've spent 15+ years helping enterprises adopt complex technology. My path: Technical Writer at United Airlines (2011-2019), creating training materials for 10,000+ maintenance personnel and leading documentation for major digital transformations. Then Senior Technical Trainer at PROS (2019-present), building AI agents to automate training content creation.
That 8-year foundation at United—navigating FAA compliance, managing 2,000+ page technical manuals, earning 2x United 100 Awards—taught me how to translate complexity into clarity at enterprise scale. Now I'm applying that same skill to AI adoption.
I hold a BA in Communications (Cum Laude) from the University of Houston. That degree is an advantage—it means I can translate technical concepts into human language, which is exactly what AI adoption needs.
